I just got in from my growth scan/cervical length check/OB appt. (I'm having montly growth scans b/c of low PAPP-A during 1st tri screening). All looked normal with the baby and growth was on track w/ baby weighing 2 lbs. 14 oz.! My cervix was 3.2cm and closed.
My OB (who is an MFM) wants to see my in 3 weeks for an appt. and then in 4 weeks another growth scan. She also wants me to start weekly non-stress tests in 3 weeks (again b/c of the low PAPP-A).
Anyone else ever have NSTs?

Re: Growth Scan/OB Appt.
I have to do NST's 2x a week now due to GD, and I had my first one yesterday. They just hook you up to two monitors - one monitors the baby's hear rate, and the other monitors your UTE to see if there are any contractions. I have a button I push every time I feel the baby kick, and other than that, I just sit there for about 20 minutes until they get what they need and I'm on my way. I'm sure there is more too it than that, but that has been my only experience so far. I don't go back again until Monday.
