Who knows where the name came from. This is coming from a girl who dated guys, was then engaged to 2 different girls, and is now supposedly engaged to her "baby daddy". She also works in a bar and still drinks and smokes even though shes pregnant.

I have heard LUX numerous times within the past two years. I assume it was spawned from the show. The CW show, that failed, was called Life UnExpected. Two high school kids had a baby, they named her LUX (Life UnExpected) and then gave her up for adoption. When she turned 16, she found them and tried to have a relationship with them. I never really watched it though, I just work for a CW station so I know about it.
I watched that show. In the first episode or something they said the name came from the nurses who called her that because she was blonde but both of her parents had brown hair/dark features. They apparently decided to go with that name for her then gave her up for adoption.
I don't think its a horrible name for a girl, but definately not a good name for a boy...

I may or may not have loved that show and don't understand why it was cancelled
hMmmmm and I thought 'London Stylez' for a BOY was bad. My nephew's godfather's son is named that. I just looked at the birth announcement and shaked my head.
