I don't really have any right to complain about getting my period.  This is only our first month trying.  I have read so many posts from you all, and so many of you have been trying for years.  Still, I'm a little sad, and frustrated.  I'm 35, and I guess I'm just being impatient.  Sweet dreams everyone!  And all you mommies are in my prayers tonight.

    I am so sorry Sherry.  I can definitely understand your sadness.  I admire your courage to post and your consideration of the awesome ladies on here and what a long process it has been for many.  Sweet Dreams.

    Every month it doesn't work is hard. It's just a different kind of hard after one month of trying than it is after 24+ months of trying. It doesn't mean you can't be disappointed. Hopefully it will be a short journey for you!

    The first month was hard for me too.  I had this dream that I would throw away the BC and poof I would get pregnant.  As time goes on some cycles are harder than others.

    I'm sorry!  I'm pretty sure all of us had this same reaction when AF showed up at the end of the first month TTC....I know I did.

    Ya know, I really love this forum.  You guys are awesome.  Mature, sensitive, and compassionate.  I and hoping and praying for all of us, everyday :)   Now I'm gonna go take a nice bath and relax!   Thanks you guys!

    Just because it was your first month, doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt to see that BFN!  I hope that you find comfort here & that we can all get through this process together!!!
