DH bought some salmon yesterday and wants to make it for him and DD, I hate seafood. First of all, is salmon okay to give to kids just under a year? I know the mercury levels are fairly low but still wasn't sure.
If so, do you have any quick recipes? I don't like fish and wouldn't know the first thing about how to cook salmon. Thanks!
Re: Anoyone giving their LO's fish?
White fish is all ok. Salmon is good too. Tuna is ok. You want to stay away from fish high in mercury and limit intake on fish that contains some mercury (like tuna, especially white albacore). Maybe this will help:

Thanks everyone for your responses, it seems pretty easy to make. Now I have to figure out what I'll eat for dinner.
Salmon is great baby food! Lots of good fats, and easily squishable, hee hee. Just make sure to double check it for little bones before you give it to your baby!
We usually just put salt and pepper on it, and a little olive oil, and then broil it for about 10 min (lift up a little bit of it and see how done it is towards the center).

I didn't even think about the bones. I'm clueless when it comes to fish. Thanks for the reminder!

These sound awesome. Maybe the big kid will even eat them. Thanks!
Leo has been having different kinds of fish from a while now, jarred from when he turned 7m and fresh from 8
the fresh one we just cook it on the owen or on the pan (with a oinch of olive oil) and then break it into flakes
You're welcome! I can PM you the actual recipe if you want. I got it out of a British finger foods book. DH is English so I'm trying to give P some things like that.
