Yesterday at 7w4d I was released from my RE. I really liked her too Oh well, this is good! So, my OB wants to see me between 8-12 weeks. I made an appointment at 10 exactly. So it's about 2.5 more weeks until my next appointment. Is this normal?
Yep, totally normal. I have always had my first OB appointment at 10 weeks (though, usually my last RE appointment is at 8+ weeks so it is only 2 weeks between appointments).
It is kind of a rough transition from the RE to the OB... when you are just a normal pregnant lady, you don't get nearly as many appointments and ultrasounds! Both a good thing and a bad thing. ;-)
Congrats on being released!
Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation. Because we're fancy like that.
Totally normal! Congrats on graduating - it was such a bittersweet thing for me b/c I loved everyone at my RE's office so much.
TTC since 11/2009
11/2010 DH SA good...01/2011 HSG is clear...01/2011 Consult with RE suprise BFP but m/c on 2/7/11 03/2011 50 mg clomid=BFN 04/2011 clomid+bromocriptine+IUI=BFP at 11dpiui Beta #1(11dpiui)=33, Beta #2 (13dpiui)=96, Beta #3 (20dpiui)=1910, Beta #4 (26dpiui)=20,134
Yep, that's totally normal from what I've seen on this board. My RE likes to see patients until they're 12 weeks, which I think is out of the ordinary. The drive to the RE was 45 minutes one way, so I asked to cut ties about a week sooner than RE normally does. And then I had my 1st OB appointment later that week at 11w1d.
