I need a fancy shmancy dress for a ball this weekend and just went to the mall -- I want to get something maternity so I can wear it again to our Xmas party in a few months. They had some dresses at A Pea in the Pod -- but they were all about $200.
Do any of the consignment stores around here sell maternity evening dresses?
TIA!

Re: Consignment stores for evening dresses?
I don't think they do maternity, but Designer Exchange by Northcross usually has a good selection of formal dresses at good prices and you might be able to get something with an empire waist that would still work at Christmas.
Ooh I'll call you tonight.
If you go with an empire waist, make sure to check and see if the lining is fitted. I own a bridal shop, and people make this mistake all.the.time with bridesmaid's dresses. They assume that a flowy, empire waisted dress will fit a preggo - but since all of the linings are fitted, this doesn't really work. Good luck!
