S/O to Babymoon --- Who is going on a cruise?!

I'm killing time before my 2nd appt. at 2:15 (yay!) and just wondering who is planning on taking a cruise in the next couple months. My husband and I are considering one in Sept. I'll be 15-16 weeks along. I've cruised 3 times before, but never while pregnant. I think it would be fine though. Anyone else planning a cruise?

I don't want to scare you, but the medical staff on ships is god-awful. I would not want to be pregnant and in a predicament where I had to see them. But that's just me. I would love to get away in the fall so someplace local will be good for me.

I have a trip planned with my mom to go on a cruise in October. We've been planning it since Jan! I'll be in my 16th week and I think it will be fine - it's just a short little 3 day cruise to the Bahamas.

I checked into this and I know that on Carnival, they will not let you go past 20 weeks. They require a letter from your doctor stating gestational age.

i went on my first cruise last january and could not get over the rocking sensation and always felt dizzy. i know other people fare better, but i think that combined with other pregnancy symptoms would make me choose something else, like a beach resort.

Definitely going to try to do a cruise in Oct. I agree with Pink though, if any issues arise we won't be cruising. But as of right now, Mama needs one more pre-babies vacation!

We are! Or at least we hope we are... I talked to my doctor about it today and he said a lot of people do this and just don't do anything stupid (zip lining, cliff diving, haha). We would go right before Thanksgiving, when I am 23-34 weeks.

I got extremely sick on a cruise last year (bad bronchitis) and the doctors were amazing. I may have gotten better health care there than I ever have at home! I would love to take another cruise before the baby is born, but due to money we'll probably do something closer to home.
