I just made a threat...(NBR)

In an email to this landscaper that did work at our house. I've been calling them since the work was done in May, every few weeks, and just told them that by the end of the day I will contact the Better Business Bureau. How bad is that?? I mean, I'll do it if I have to. Anyone ever do this??

    I threaten all the time to get my way (when it's warranted) :)

    Ugh, long story. Short version, they installed 3 drains in the middle of our lawn (was supposed to be at the curb) and now the lawn looks like sh!t cause the grass didn't grow and and also the water pours down and erodes the lawn. Their contract said it would make "the lawn look neat and clean". So I have 2 issues - lawn is not neat or clean, and the drains in the middle created a new problem. There's more but that's the short end of it. I want the lawn restored and now that I'm so pi$$ed I want the drains moved (the last part may not happen as that will be very costly to them). I paid over $3k for this job - it should have been done right.

    Well the wife just called and is like "he's coming over right now". Ok #1 I'm in pj's. #2 I'm feeding the baby. #3 you need my H to be here, as I'm not letting you pull the whole "let me talk to them separately and mix things up so I can do what I want to do".

    Appointment set for Friday 5:30. Wish me luck!!

    Good for you! You can also file complaints with the Attorney General's Office. I have to get very annoying to get my way and it works

    Good for you that they are coming to hopefully fix it. But what total BS that you've had to call for months and it takes a threat to get an immediate response. Some people have no idea how to properly run a business.
