DS is driving me crazy.

He will nap for anyone but me.  If I put him down in the pack n play at work he'll nap, but when we're home when I put him down in his crib he yells and plays...for up to 2 hours.

I gave him half an hour, he was still rolling and playing in there.  So I got him up.

Any advice?

I figured this was a cue that he was ready to stay up longer between naps.  He used to go down 4-4.5 hrs after waking.  So I've stretched it to 5-5.5hrs.  I give him a bottle in the dark room, he's rubbing both eyes, acting sleepy, I rock him for a few minutes and put him down.

    If he still taking 2 naps?  If so, it sounds like he may be ready for just 1.

    my 13mo old daughter will only nap 30-60 minutes a day and its a fight! shes only sleeping 6-8 hrs a night too. She is getting teeth in and she is soooo miserable. maybe thats why your son wont sleep.

    I'm praying thats what it is.  he's been chewing his fingers again, but I don't feel any bumps.  He's a late teether so who knows.

    mine almost always farts around in her crib before going to sleep. i let her. don't go in there when he's awake, don't pick him up, leave him be and he'll go to sleep. now if she's screaming, i do try to soothe her and have given up after 1/2 an hour (of screaming and trying to soothe) and taken her out for another hour or two but i've only had to do that like twice.
