Daycare in Blaine Area?

Does anyone know of any in home daycares in the Blaine area that have openings for an infant? I am seriously having the hardest time finding a place that has an infant opening. I have a 5 month old and are looking for a long term daycare. It is like finding a needle in a hay stack!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Daycare in Blaine Area?

  • Have you checked Craigslist?  I have found all 3 of my home daycares there.  The key is the more info they provide on their listing, the better idea you get if they will be a good fit for you.

  • Are you totally opposed to a center?  If not, I would recommend looking at Jack & Jill.  They aren't a chain (only two locations - Blaine and Roseville) and so they are a little cheaper than some other centers - and I've heard nothing but great things about them (my DS would be in the Roseville one but I'm only working pt and they couldn't accommodate our schedule).  GL!!
  • We always used Sunrise Christian Daycare in Moundsview and loved them! It's a very small center, low child to teacher ratio, reasonably priced and they allow for one unpaid week of vacation per year. Highly unusual for center or in-home care.

I don't know if she's got any openings, but one of my gf sent her son to Mary Ylvisaker in Blaine. You could give her a try.

Wife to an amazing man and mom to three darling girls!
