WDY eat the night before a AM workout?

I have been running in the mornings and usually grab a 1/2 banana and then hit the road running. However, with being pg I am hungry before I go to bed, but need something light so I don't feel over full, still struggling with m/s. So what do you all eat the night before a run or workout?

  • I think regardless of what I eat at night, I am starving in the morning.  I've been eating bananas or dry roasted edamame to calm the hunger until my normal breakfast.

  • I run every morning and don't eat anything special at night.  But I'm also not hungry before I go to bed.

    During first trimester when I was hungrier, I think I would get up, have a small bowl of all bran with milk, then get dressed and go running.

  • Try slow digesting carbs like a banana and peanut butter sandwich on wheat or a small shake with casein protein.

  • I am literally constantly starving, so no matter what I eat to fill myself up, I'm hungry again by morning.  Maybe oatmeal with some fruit?
