EBF and possibly pregnant???? sos

i got my first actual period in june. it lasted a normal ammount of time and i havent gotten once since. i have been having cravings like crazy and i have been more tired as well. im going to schedual a dr appt but i was wondering what yall might think.

    I know a couple people that had one period and then it went away again. If you a really worried take a test to ease your mind. Good luck!

    I'd POAS tomorrow morning if I were you. 

     

     

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    Were you using any form of birth control? If not, you could most definitely be pregnant . I would test tomorrow!

I'm afraid I'm not privy to that one v.v but I did call my obgyn and she said to come in and do a blood test just to be safe because bfing will more than likely throw off the results of a home test. I go see her tomorrow and then wait. Ty for all your support when I find out yall will too :D

    Pee On A Stick - take a pregnancy test.  You could be pregnant or it could just be that your cycles are off because you EBF.  Kinda hard to tell.  I have never heard of BFing throwing off the results of an HPT either.  Why not just take a home test and see what it says?

    This.  I think I would expect my period to be irregular, kinda like when going off of BC or any other change.  I would def POAS though, just for reassurance!

    It's absolutely normal for your period to be irregular while breastfeeding.  I got my first period in July and my second period about two weeks later ... Big Smile  So, there you go ... That said, I guess you'll find out for sure after you take the test.  Good luck!
