I hear how large my baby is everywhere I go, it's kind of annoying! Both of my girls were big babies, so it's just really getting to me. At least they weren't born big, they just packed on the weight later on.

If your kids were small, you'd get comments. If your kids were PERFECT, people would talk about it. Just say thanks & keep going. People like that either mean well & have a terrible way of expressing it, or just plain aren't worth your time!

The picture of your daughters is precious - they look fine to me. Dont' let people get to you. I hate how people make negative comments about everything. What ever happened to "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"?

We get comments like this all the time. I just respond with "well, how else is he going to make it in the NFL?" and smile and walk away. With little girls I am sure its harder but I just like to think they are healthy and happy and that should be all that matters to people.

yeah DS was really tiny and ate poorly at first, so I HATED all of the "he is so TIINNYYY" comments that were probably supposed to be "he's so cute"-like compliments but they were awful when we were having so much trouble getting him to gain weight.

Yes he is chubby, but he is still right in the 50% percentile for both weight & height

LO is in the 99th percentile for height and weight... it get that all.the.time.

I take it as a compliment It's a good thing for a baby to eat well. Chubby babies are adorable. As are tiny peanut babies. As are average sized babies. People just want something to say.

I wish people would just keep their random thoughts to themselves!

I don't feel like she's big, but I get comments on H's size. "Wow, she's only 7 months? I thought she was like 10 months old!" The other day at the grocery store a couple made a similar comment, then lifted a cover off their 11 month old son who was the same size as her.

Meanwhile, if I look at the calculators online, she's only in about the 40th% for weight for age. Confused I think it must be her chubby thighs and cheeks.
