I made a playlist for both DD and DS, I really enjoyed having it playing and it helped relax me. My favorite song was Ingrid Michaelson's "Keep Breathing" that song always helps me when I'm stressed out.

I've got a playlist of music my mother listened to all the time when I was a kid. She died a few years ago and the playlist makes me feel closer to her and all my happy memories of her, so hopefully it'll make me feel good throughout labor. I'm also bringing my Scottish Moors CD. It's got lots of beautiful, relaxing piano and violin music with the sound of waves in the background. I've had it since I was about 8, so more happy memories! :-) Hopefully these help!
I had a CD that was a recording of the ocean. I used it to relax when I was practicing my breathing/pain management techniques at home, and that's what I had in the hospital. I think real music would have bothered me.
