TTC-After Depo

My name is Monica, and my boyfriend and I are trying to become pregnant with our second baby,but I've been on the birth control shot Depo provera shot since Oct, 2010-April,2011.And I'm wondering if anyone else that may have been in my situation and had a success story or advice of maybe becoming pregnant after or soon after stop taking birth control. Help?

I was on depo right after my first son in 2007 and only for 3 months after because I gained weight. I did not have a period while I was on it. It took until august of 2008 for me to have one and the next month I found out I was pregnant with my DS that passed last year. So it took a long time for my body to regulate after using depo. I know that is not much help but it is my experience.

I was on depo for just under 3 years.....I stopped in Dec 2009 (last shot was actually in Sept 2009)....

My cycle didn't return until Jan/Feb 2011 (13 months later) ~ I needed a round of Provera and low dose birth control pills to get it to start again...

I didn't ovulate on my own afterwards for several months ~ after 3 rounds of Clomid (no BFP), I ovulated on my own for the first time last month...

so that's 20 months now of TTC and still no BFP...

Everyone's experience is different, however, mine has not been positive. I was on Depo from March 2010-Aug 2010 and decided not to get my November shot. I didn't have a period the entire time I was on the Depo. By June when I STILL hadn't had a period, I called my Dr....he sent me for bloodwork, a pelvic ultrasound and prescribed me a round of progesterone to bring my period. My period came last month, was super light and short and nothing since. Sooo, I'm going on a year of being off of it and still nothing, I'm not having a period and I'm not ovulating.
