This morning I finally took a Magic Eraser to the Kritter table and was able to pretty much erase all signs of crayon. I think some staining is left, but it's from chepy crayons (not Crayola).
Of course, as I was beginning to type this, even though I'm sitting here on the floor RIGHT NEXT to the table with Hannah sitting at it....she just drew a lovely blue blob on it again. This girl is going to make me go gray way before my time!! I don't even know how many times a day Marshall says, "No, Hannah." because HE seems to know the rules.
So I'd say yes, it's easy to clean. However, I'd recommend getting the one that's not white if you want it to look really clean. I got white because that's all they had at the Ikea closest to me...which is about 2 hours away.
Re: *groovygrl* (Kritter table)
She was paging me b/c I had posted about various toddler tables & was wondering about which ones were easy to clean arts & crafts supplies off of. But thanks for the opinion?
Thanks Sara!!!! thank god for washable crayons & magic erasers, right? Mine simultaneously drew all over the wall & floor the other day & both came right off, phew...BUT we were at my ILs recently & my DD dug some long abandoned crayons out of the bottom of a box of ancient matchbox cars so I'm pretty sure they pre-date the "washable' type and she drew dark blue all over the white posts on the porch....I scrubbed & scrubbed w/ various cleaning products and couldn't get it to totally go away... ugh!
I'm still up in the air about the table & chairs, mostly b/c of the space issue...and b/c we may be moving within 6 months & I don't want any more stuff cluttering up the house if we have to show it. Decisions decisions
