Don't mess with a pregnant lady's food!

Ugh. After much deliberation, I decided Pizza Hut with ham, onions, and black olives sounded good for dinner.

Pizza guy just showed up. Guess what was on the pizza? Ham, onions, and BACON PIECES.

Don't get me wrong. I love bacon, and it still sounds okay, but this could have been disastrous. What if it had been tomatoes or something that totally does NOT appeal to me right now? Also, at least it was still in the pork family - the only beef I eat is hippie beef b/c I'm afraid of mad cow from factory farmed beef. lol.

  • "hippie beef" made me giggle.  I would love me some bacon right now!

  • Hummm pizza. My favorite combo is peperoni, bacon bits, and olives.

You can only get mad cow if you eat the brains of the cow.  Eat beef all you want.

This isn't what I've heard/read (assuming you can get it from cows at all, which seems controversial), but regardless, I know mad cow is SO last century and not really something anyone ever had to worry much about, but it makes me feel better to continue avoiding beef that I can't ensure has been fed a 100% vegetarian diet. I certainly don't preach it to others, but it's one of my eccentricities. :)
