I apologize if there have been a million posts about this, but with TB's stellar search feature I can't find anything...
Anyway, I am looking for some good ideas for DD's 1st bday goody bags. With it being the end of summer, I have gotten a lot of beach pails, bubbles, shovels, etc. I want something cute and different. I was leaning towards reusable snack bags with the kids' names embroidered. 1) they are $4 each and I have 30 kids. I would like to spend less and 2) is that not really "fun" for the kids and more geared toward the parents?
Any ideas are welcome! TIA!
Re: 1st Birthday Goody Bags
It depends on the age of your kids coming, but I'm doing a coloring book from the dollar store and a box of crayola crayons (because its school time I got them for less than 20cents a box) and I'll tie it all up with a pretty ribbon.
I thought it was different other than candy and it's something they can actually use.
A friend of mine makes amazing decorated sugar cookies. I am giving those out as favors. I hate favors! I hate giving them and I hate when Olivia comes home with a bag of crap from parties. The cookies are delicious and will go with our theme.
But I have to ask...how the heck do you have 30 kids on the list?

I know, it is totally OOC. But, I have a big family and a lot of DH's and my friends all had babies around the same time. So, 29 kids it is (some are big siblings of our really close friends, so I don't know if they will be coming yet)
