OMG yes. DS is definitely throwing temper tantrums! He'll be sitting up and playing with something and then it doesn't do what he wants it to so he tosses it aside and puts his face to the ground and cries. Or when I tell him, "No?" Oh he knows what it means because that brings on a tantrum! (And I don't say it often, either, so it's hard not to laugh.)

We definitely have a tantrum thrower here! It's usually when I take away some treasure he's found - like a penny under the couch! Nate has started to either hiss or snort when he gets excited - it's so cute and a little creepy.
No hardcore tantrums over here, but he does suck in air to make noise. He likes to do it while I'm trying to feed him & he ends up spraying the food off the spoon all over the place. good times!
can throw some hardcore temper tantrums. Are these even considered temper tantrums at this age?
Oh and does anyone elses LO suck in air to make noise? E does this all the time, and a lot of the time it's when he's excited.
no temper tantrums but when griff gets super excited (like when he sees the dogs after a nap) he kicks his legs, smiles and sucks in air that makes a high pitched squeal sort of. hard to explain lol.
L has only thrown one legitimate tantrum (not interested in napping, anyone?). But he does make an odd air sucking in/kinda of purring noise when he gets excited!
Tantrums aren't too bad here, but B does that weird air sucking thing. I almost called the pedi on it until our friends swore up down and sideways that their kid did it too.
no tantrums yet here...that sounds horrible! I'm so sorry!
As for the inhaling vocalizations, we get those all of the time! They're hilarious. They happen whether DS is excited or not. I think he just is trying out his vocals and doesn't realize yet that human speech doesn't typically involve making noises while inhaling.
ETA: DS definitely protests when you take away a toy he's playing with or wants, but I wouldn't call it a tantrum. (And no, we're not cruel parents...the "toy" is usually some unsafe thing he has gotten into. 99% of the time I can replace it with an actual, safe toy no problem, but sometimes that's just not possible.)
