Cake

I decided to go with the old standby (Bonbonerie) to order a cake for W's baptism. However (as always), I'm torn on which torte to order. We'll leave it to a vote. Which sounds best? https://bonbonerie.com/downloads/menus/cakes_2011_08.pdf

Chocolate Raspberry Marley Torte or Lemon Blueberry Torte (or stick with a BB classic and order the Opera Cream Torte)?

NOTE: If it matters, we are serving lasagna and capellini pomodoro (+salad, bread, etc.).

    Lemon Blueberry hands down because I love it.

    If you need another reason, I think it might be lighter since you'll be serving a heavier meal.Big Smile

    Lemon Blueberry sounds fantastic!! That's what I'd order.

    However, Opera Cream has a special place in my heart b/c it's delicious and it was my wedding cake (it and white chocolate raspberry torte).

    Now I want cake.  Thanks T.

    Lemon blueberry for sure.  I like to pretend things with citrus have less calories because they are "refreshingly light."

    lemon blueberry! That is what Nathans birthday party cake will be (or I think it will, I need to see if im up to the challenge.) I think its a nice summer dessert and it sounds divine

    opera cream is my favorite though.... decisions, decisions..

     

    We had opera cream layers and white chocolate raspberry layers for our wedding cake. :)
