Trouble TTC

I'm back!

Thanks so much Jezebell26, jbeck78, pulga131, zookbride, kathy4678, and everyone else for thinking of me.

Jezebell26 - awesome news on your BFP! I am so excited that there was such great news while I was away. How was your beta yesterday? I didn't see a post about that, but maybe it's buried in the mix.

Kathy - I'm thrilled for you that you're really cancer free. What a momentous day! I hope that you get to do something fun to celebrate.

Fill me in on how the rest of you are!

We got our first beta done on Friday right before we left for our trip on Saturday. It was a 5.7, which I don't know if that's good or not. It was 6dp5dt. I didn't get a positive urine test, so I was disappointed. I haven't taken one since. Tomorrow will be another beta, so we are holding out to see what that says. We find out online, so I have to wait all day until DH comes home from work so we can see it together.

Online after the last beta it said "it could mean a pregnancy, however another test would be necessary to confirm". This is pretty torturous. We keep focusing on the positive and saying "at least we made it this far."

  • Good luck tomorrow!  My clinic does betas at 6dp5dt and then again at 8dp5dt.  They don't like to give out the results until after the second test because the first one tends to be low.  They consider anything 5 and above on 6dp5dt a positive.  I did have a friend whose first beta was a 3 that has a successful pregnancy going on.  So, I think 5 is fine!  I hope you get a nice high beta tomorrow!

Thanks so much everyone! As always I really don't know what I'd do without your support.

STL34 - your info helps a lot. We were checking out a website called www.betabase.info and hoped things were looking good. At this point we just celebrate each milestone and having made it this far.

Celebrating every milestone is definitely the best outlook to have.  Worrying doesn't change anything, it just keeps you from enjoying what you have right now.  Right now, girl, you are pregnant!

    Best of luck tomorrow!
