Hello ladies!  I wanted to introduce myself before I started posting. 

DH & I were TTC for 18 months. Went through 3 IUI cycles then had our first IVF cycle last month & finally got a BFP. 

Today we had our first ultrasound at 6 weeks 1 day. Baby is measuring at 6 weeks w/ heart rate of 102. The heart rate seems a little low to me but the tech & nurse both said it's fine.

I hope you don't mind if I post here.

ER 7/18/11 - 9 retrieved

Beta 1 (8/03) = 471 Beta 2 (8/5) 1416

    Congrats and Welcome to the board!  Glad you had a great first u/s!  I had mine at 6w exactly and they didn't even give me the heart rate.  It's so early and likely has literally just started beating, so it can take a little while to ramp up to its full speed.  No worries.  :)

    Congratulations!!!  I wouldn't worry about the heart rate, ours was super low at the first u/s because it just started beating and 2 weeks later it was way up there around 170s.  Enjoy watching that baby grow - those first few ultrasounds were amazing to see how much a week's difference made!

    So awesome!! Congrats! My first u/s was at 6 weeks and the hb was 108 (I think haha), I think if its over 100 then thats great!! After all, it just started beating!

    DH SA 0 count, increased clomid dosage - January 2011
    DH SA 75 million with 60% motility!! - May 2011
    IVF with ICSI ONLY OPTION - May 2011
    3dt of 2 Grade A 8&7 cell embryos May 19, 2011
    +HPT May 30 2011 -- Memorial Day!

    Congrats and welcome!  The heartbeat is just starting around 6 weeks so I'm sure it will pick up.

    After 2+ years and multiple treatment cycles,
    including an IVF vacation in Costa Rica/Panama,
    IVF #2 brought us our miracle baby!

    Thanks for the reassurance :).  I?m not going to give the heart rate another thought.
