  Wow I have never heard of that! Seems kinda ridiculous with this being your second ride. We had classes offered through the hospital the first time around and we took them (birthing class, infant CPR and caring for an infant class) but I doubt we will take any of them again this time. Do you have to pay for it?

  I had to do this as well and this is my second pregnancy.  However, mine wasn't a group class.  Not sure if that's what you mean or if you're referring to a 1 on 1.  I met with the nurse, got the info book, updated my medical history and basically breezed through it in 30 minutes.  It's really not a big deal.  They mostly want to double check if there are any new issues since your last pregnancy and answer questions you may have.  Just do it.  It's one of the only times you'll have an appointment where you don't get probed and prodded.  lol
