I think there's a clicy about half the page down about this. I won't take LO anywhere that allows smoking. Where I live, this includes applebees.
It's so bizarre to me that states still allow it. It's been banned here for almost a decade. When we were visiting the ILs down south we went out to breakfast and had to sit next to some guy that was smoking. It was gross. No smoke over my scrambled eggs, please.

That's what I was thinking. It's not allowed here either. I don't know why restaurants still do it even if the states allow it.

I know. I hate it. We just moved to the midwest/south from a hippy mountain town. It was a major culture shock for me.
I voted no, but I'm taking "bar" to mean a place for drinking and socializing, like city bars in Manhattan. I don't consider places like Chili's, Applebees, or pub-style restaurants bars. I know some bars also serve food, but I would avoid those places with DD after a certain hour, say, 6pm or something. And smoking has been banned in restaurants and bars here for ages, so that's a non-issue.
SS- A local bar/pub before 8-9pm for a bite to eat and a local draft, sure.
A bar/bar with dancing, music, smoke, and whores, no.
lol Do you live in NV?
You would be surprised how many whores are found out and about in small town PA after hours, lol.
hahahaha!! I used to live in NV so we had the real deal. The Bunny Ranch was just down the road. ick.
Confession: I have no issues with actual prostitutes. Oldest profession in the book. I understand why some women would be tempted into such a lifestyle. I wouldn't have an issue being near the Bunny Ranch.
Could I be best friends with a hooker or I have married H if he frequented such ladies? No. Hypocrite? Maybe.

It was more the men that hung out with the bunnies. They weren't that bad. The guys were fvcking disgusting. I felt bad for the girls. And Dennis the owner of the ranch...or the pimp? Was gross too.

Am I the only one who is thinking of the difference between a bar and a pub? I don't know about the rest of the country, but here in Oregon, there are NO MINORS allowed in a bar at any time of the day or night. A pub, however, is perfectly fine. Would I bring my child to a pub to get a bite to eat? Absolutely. A bar? No, because it's illegal and my son doesn't need to be in a bar.
I could be over thinking things, but I think people forget that what they think may be a bar because it has a bar, may actually be a pub. There is a big difference.

I chose SS because most of our bars are restaurants also and DH and I often take LO down for a beer and some dinner. We are always out of there before 7pm to get LO into the bath and bed. I would never take him to a bar only or take him too late but during dinner hours is fine with me so long as they serve food and its a family thing.

Why does this make me think of Sweet Home Alabama...
"You've got a baby....in a bar"

I agree with this exactly.
