Baby girl is here!

Just wanted to check in quickly and let you know that DD arrived on Tuesday night at 9:46.  I went in for a routine check up Tuesday morning and my BP was high.  I had been feeling like crap for a day or two and wasn't too surprised.  I had protein in my urine and was swelling so the OB sent me to Rex to be monitored and draw blood, see if I should be induced and they decided around 3 pm to admit me.  Pitocin started then, water broken at 5, epidural at 7 and was 4cm.  By 9pm I thought I was going to die and DH ran for a nurse who determined I was ready to push.  Started at 9:25 and she arrived at 9:46.  It was similar to O in the way I reacted to the epidural and going quickly, but much easier to push.  She is absolutely perfect, and I can't believe she is actually here.  She was 8 pounds, 5 ounces and 21 inches.  It took to the minute we were being wheeled out the door to decide on a name for the birth certificate people, but we finally decided on Claire Jean.  We are SO in love and I am exhausted - I don't think I've slept more than 4 hours since I woke up at 4am Tuesday.  Good luck to the next in line!
