Hey Ladies,
I am on the search for a double stroller. I see some I like online, but not all of them seem to be sold in store and I have a hard time buying something for $250 that I can't first look at. I really don't want to spend more than $300. Any recs of places to look? Or if you LOVE your double stroller what do you have and where did you get it?
TIA!
Re: Double Stroller
We are getting this Sit and Stand from BRU-

We can use it with our Graco infant seat, DD can sit in a seat for awhile and when she gets older we can remove the seat and she can sit or stand. We played with it at the store the other day and really liked it...and the price too.
my read shelf:
We love our city select. More than any stroller I've ever touched. It's not under 300, but it's worth every penny. It's a single to double, which is perfect for us with the age gap. They also sell a boogie board that K can stand on when she stops wanting to ride.
If I were getting a true double, I'd get the city mini double.
Britax makes a double to single called the b ready, that might be worth looking at. I know in September they have an event where you can get the second seat for free.
I think we are getting the City Select too. A close second would be the City Mini double.

We have the Bumbleride Indie Twin, again way more than $300, but the cheaper strollers didn't have even half of the features I wanted.
My tip would be to figure out where you would be using it the most and go from there. Test with DC#1 if you can. Strollers I thought would love weren't comfortable for DS1.
I test drove strollers at Baby Grand, but bought at diapers.com because it was almost $300 cheaper between not having to pay taxes on it and discounts.
I third the city select. Best money I ever spent on a baby item. If you can, wait until close to the new year to buy, they discount last year's model when they roll out the new year's model. I ended up paying around $500 for the stroller, second seat, and carseat adapter. The way my DH put it is even at full price, if you use it for 2 years it only costs $1 a day.....and I would definitely pay $1 a day for this level of convenience!
I agree with all of this.
