This Rolling Over Business Is Getting On My Nerves

I see that others are having the same problem!  My LO is an excellent sleeper but last night she woke up 3 times because she rolled on her stomach & couldn't get back to how she wanted to be.  I helped her out all three times and she quickly fell asleep but this is annoying!  She did the same tonight, I just helped her out a few minutes ago.

Ugh I hope this passes soon.....

Re: This Rolling Over Business Is Getting On My Nerves

  • Feeling your pain... wish mine was only 3 times - she was up EVERY hour last night. I let her roll around all day hoping to get it out of her system a little, but I am still dreading tonight!!

  • Right there with you.  DS was so wide awake from the impromptu tummy time that I had to nurse him back to sleep each time.  Please learn how to roll back onto your back, baby!

Tomorrow after I mop the floors, I intend on doing the same thing.  It's like they have a love hate relationship with rolling over.  My LO will smile her way to her belly then get mad.  WTFIndifferent

Same here! She'll look over like "mom, look what I can do" and then panic "WTF did I just do and how do I get off my belly!" She's rolled back to her back a couple times but nothing consistent yet. Wishing you a good sleep tonight Wink

  • I'm glad I'm not alone here.  Last night after she woke up the second time, I gave in and put her in the rock and play because the night before I was seriously up every hour.

  • LO has gotten pretty efficient at rolling both ways but thankfully he hasn't even tried at night. We still swaddle him, but breaks his arms out pretty much every night.
  • We're going through this and I am going insane. It's so frustrating. I hope he grows out of it soon.
