Holding LO all the time?

I feel like I'm the only mama that holds her LO all the time. He's 7 weeks and hates the swing and bouncy seat, hates the car seat, and naps best in my arms. He has reflux and torticollis and sleeps in a rock and play sleeper at night with a head positioner, and I've been trying to get him to sleep in his big boy crib for naps to get used to it. It has a wedge in it to elevate his head and I put his head positioner in it too. I haven't had any luck whatsoever...I feel like it's best if he sleeps with his head positioner for his torticollis instead of me holding him the whole time but he just won't do it. Am I the only one still holding their LO during the day? I'm not getting much done and it's getting a little frustrating :-( Any suggestions? TIA!

Nope! My Lo is 3 months old and I still hold him all the time. Every now and then he will let me prop him up against pillows for 10 mins or so but thats about it. he also sleeps in his swing at night....after I get him to sleep on me. I try his crib but he usually wakes up right after I put him in it...I am working on it...slowly. Hang in there!!!

You are not alone! DD hates pretty much everything. She will tolerate the swing, bouncer, playmat for maybe 5 minutes. She sleeps like crud unless she's held. It makes it hard bc I have a 3.5 year old too. At night she sleeps pretty good. I replicate that during the day and it doesn't work. I just keep trying different things and hope something will eventually stick. Hang in there!

I hold H or wear her most of the day. At night, she will only sleep next to me in bed.

Get a moby or something similar and wear him, then you could at least get some shiit done!!

You are not alone! I'm always holding Em and she will only sleep unless held or right next to me. I've tried wearing her but she hates the moby. I'm so tired and the house is a mess so tomorrow we are going to try on some carriers at a baby store. Hang in there, hopefully our arms will get some rest.

DD has her days where she only naps in my arms...like today. it definitely makes it tough when you want to get house work done. there's just some things i can't do with her strapped to me, i'm afraid i'm going to bonk her head.

I managed to wash the kitchen floor (on my hands & knees) with DD in the Moby the other day without a problem. However, when I went to grab something from the pantry (something simple), a can of soup almost fell on her head. Yikes! Indifferent

DS is also attached to me all day. We are really lucky he sleeps some at night without being held. He sleeps in the rock n play, but hates pretty much anything else. He tolerates the play mat and bouncy seat for about 5-10 min 1-2 times a day but thats it. Ive tried having him take naps in crib also and soon as I set him down he is up pretty much. Its rough. I bought a carrier, but feel awkward wearing it all the time and its not easy to get around with it, I feel 9 months preggers again with a baby in front of me, can't see anything. GL! You arent alone.
