T&P please....friend in day 2 of labor

close friend started labor yesterday and went to the birthing center around 3p.m. YESTERDAY. still no baby. we haven't gotten much word beyond third-hand "things are progressing slowly" (not that i expect much word or anything).

she is trying to a VBAC so i just hope she is doing okay.

i learned this morning that the baby actually came late last night (just after I posted this)....8lbs girl.21 in...no other details but momma and baby are fine!!

Yay! Congrats to you and your friend. FWIW, I went to the hospital at 6pm the night before DD was born and she didn't arrive until 4pm the next day. We were both fine. Sometimes it just takes a while!

45 hours of labor and she had a natural birth. i haven't heard the whole story but she is already home and doing fine.
