Had my 28 week apt today and my OB did an ultrasound to try to get better pictures of things they didn't see very well at my AS which included the heart, brain and spine (kind of the major things!)
He was never even been that concerned after my AS and got great shots of the heart and spine today and said everything was fine but since he still couldn't get the right angle to measure brain/cranial anatomy (since he's head down now) he's having me do another ultrasound with the tech in 3 weeks.
I didn't do the quad screen so I think thats why he wants to make sure he's getting good pictures...
Would you be worried??
Re: Tell me I have nothing to worry about...
definitely don't be worried - you have a very thorough doctor is all
baby a was *very* stubborn and i had to go in for 3 f/u appts to get all of her shots. it was a major PITA but everything was fine, they just need the exact right angles for good pics so they could make sure everything was OK.
Because we're fancy like that.
I know it's hard, but you shouldn't be worried. My little one is very difficult too and likes to be wedged down as far as she can, which makes scanning her hard for the technicians. And if they were really worried, they wouldn't be waiting 3 weeks for you to come back. Hang in there, I'm sure your lo is just fine.
