I was due 8/12, and I know most articles say if you are late your due date was "off" due to you not really knowing when you concieved, but we know exactly when it happened and my little bambina just doesn't want to appear! Absolutely no dilation or effacement at all!
Anyone else in week 40-41 and how are you surviving?? ![]()
Re: 40 weeks, 3 days and counting... anyone else w/ me??
StefandTodd is absolutely correct.
Some babies just need longer to cook! I'm at 41 weeks 2 days and still counting and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt exactly when we conceived.
Our LO's are on the way, they just aren't as punctual as we expected.
Just over 40 weeks here. She's showing no signs of coming anytime soon, but from what I gather, labor can start at anytime without notice.
Labor dust to everyone!!
I'm 40wks 4days, and as of Thursday I was only 50% effaced and no dilation. I did lose my MP this morning so I have hopes that maybe, just maybe something is getting started up!
Good luck ladies, I feel your pain!
Distract yourself. At least that's what I've been trying. Last week I was 1 cm dialated and 75% effaced and I finally lost my mucus plug on Saturday, so I'm hopefully going to meet my bambino soon. I never thought I'd start my maternity leave today without a baby, but I've decided I'm going to stock up on rest while I can. All of the old wives tales I tried did nothing but wear me out and frustrate me. My doctor suggested prayer might me the only thing to get labor started, so some praying I'm doing.
I'm with ya! Absolutely nada happening in the signs of labor department.
I struggle with some frustration, but just keep telling myself that this little dude clearly needs some more time to bake and he'll show up when he's ready. About 70% of the time that helps me feel better
.
I am not due until this Sunday but honestly I feel for you ladies. I have seen your tickers be about a week or more than mine for so long now and have been watching for your birth story posts. I can't wait to come on and see them all soon and be able to put my "congrats" post on them.
LABOR DUST to all of you. Good luck and hoping you don't have to bake much longer!
