  • There is the market under the bridge (downtown) and Vodoo donuts is close by. We like to wLk the wAterfront too, there is always some kind of festival going on.

  • Portland Saturday Market is great, huge, lots of food and stuff.  We love the zoo.  We also love this bakery, they have 2 shops.  23rd is a fun street to walk around and have a bite to eat.

The market is kind of like Pike Place only its called Saturday Market. It is a huge farmers market and the food is to die for! You could also check out Powell's Book Store on Burnside. Hawthorne Street is pretty cool too. And Vodoo Donuts is the sh*t! =D You could check out the Rose and Japanese Garden's as well. There is a lot to do in Portland.

  • Check out McMenamins, there are several pubs but check out one of their hotels. They have wine tasting, a distillery, great beer and a movie theater, golfing and spa or soaking pool. If you don't already have a room booked maybe even stay there, they have a lot of character.

This. We have stayed at the Grand Lodge and the Edgefield, had lunch at the Oregon Hotel and the Kennedy School. All are fantastic, and they are all located near(ish) Portland. If you are driving down, you can also stop by the Olympic Club in Centralia. Great atmosphere and killer burgers!

    McMenamins linky.
