I am only 2 days late, no contraception, husband and I are not trying but not avoiding. Last night I woke up to what seemed like my "water-breaking" where underwear was soaked through with clear colorless odorless fluid, not discharge and I have not taken baths or gone swimming lately, only showers. Today I have mild cramps, mild brownish-pinkish discharge. At-home pregnancy test was negative today so I don't plan to see a doctor, but could that have been a very early miscarriage with the only symptom being amniotic fluid leakage?? I usually get a lot of vaginal discharge so I know the difference and this was not discharge or urine. I don't mind either way, but would just like to know as this has never happened before.
??

Re: water-breaking?
no.
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
Is this MUD?
I doubt the fluid is "water breaking".
When you're 10 weeks, the amniotic sac only contains about 1 ounce of fluid.
This.
Um, there is no water to break at this point. The amniotic sac doesn't begin to form until about 2 weeks after fertilization and even at 10 weeks there's only about 10ml of fluid.
Could you have just been really sweaty? Did you guys have sex last night and it's semen?
Wait 3 days and test again if you don't have your period.
This. Are you in Texas? Maybe it was sweat. It's hotter than a mofo down here...
It's a GIRL!
I was so excited to see what you were going to say to this... thank you for not disappointing haha
there are so many things wrong with this post.
To the original poster: like other people mentioned, it's not possible for you to have your water breaking. It could be sweat, or perhaps you had an accident. If you feel you are pregnant, and you still don't get your period, call your doctor and make an appointment.
And maybe this is my hormones, and maybe yours, too, ladies. Your replies seem mean, and discouraging. To make fun of her for something she's nervous or scared about just seems so wrong. Isn't this supposed to be a place that people can come for support? If you don't have something constructive to say, why post? It just turns people away. I don't know if this person who posted above is a troll, a young wife, or just someone who's confused. I just don't believe it's right to be rude.
And pardon me for the hormone-filled-rant. If it were me reaching out, and you were mean as to post some of the words and the .gif about me and my concern, it would make me feel down and that's not what I want to hear when I'm asking for advice, concern or support. Put yourself in this person's shoes. Maybe she wants so badly to be pregnant that she's clinging to every single feeling, and "symptom." I know I did when I was in my 2WW.
Isn't this supposed to be a place that people can come for support?
No, it's a place for discussion.
I'm sorry then. I thought this was a place to share our joys and sorrows, get advice and find other people to help, or to explain things they've already been through. Or to find other people going through what you're going through so you don't feel alone. My bad.
No problem.
At least once a day I LOL in my cubicle and my coworkers turn and look at me.
It's a GIRL!
Nowhere in the Bump TOS does it state any of those things. This is a message board, not a support group.
This is not to say that I wouldn't support someone who is having a really hard time, but the OP was just completely ridiculous. Ask a stupid question...get an awesome Mean Girls gif.
Ok, your water broke, you are not pregnant...Girl I think you had a really "hot" dream or you use the bathroom on yourself! I mean, I know that this is my first pregnancy, but I am still trying to figure out how your water can break...and you are not pregnant. Strange!
The gif was funny. I'm just all over the place with these emotions. It was a silly question. But I just get defensive and emotion and empathize too too much. Sorry.
I think tha this is her best option! It def. sounds like she wet the bed.
*SMH
Holy Shizzz thats hilarious!!!!
ahhh hahahahaha! I'm sorry not to be mean to the OP, but this response made my day!

1. You are trying to concieve, SEX+No Protection= BABY so by not preventing it you are trying.
2. U Wet the bed or were sweating like a hog.
If I drink a big glass of water before bed sometimes I sleep walk pee! I dont wet bed but I get up make a ton of noise running into things running into walls talking then usually try to pee somewhere dumb, like a trash can, sink, closets...pretty fun for the hubs to chase me, but if you embarressed tell your man what you want, not like he will know!!!
...this is possibly one of the dumbest responses I've ever read on TB.
