So I have started to eat them when I have already had a snack but it isn't quite meal time. I feel like they are a healthy alternative to gnawing off my own arm. But the balance bars (lemon meringue) don't satiate me. They have 14 grams of protein though so I thought that would be plenty to fill my tummy.
If you eat these, do they fill you up? What kind do you eat? Maybe I could find one with a higher amt of protein.
Re: Can we talk about protein bars?
This exactly!
Maybe eat your favorite bar with a (Greek) yogurt for the extra protein to hold you over for longer?
I don't use them as meal replacements. Just an in between snack. Surely they are better than a candy bar or ice cream which is what I would usually jump to.

They're hard to find, but the Kashi protin bars (and others) are really good and actually have some texture to them.
Instead of a protein bar, what about a protein shake. The advantage there is that you'll have the advantage of the liquid mass to help make you feel fuller quick with the protein to help make it last.
In all seriousness though, remember, you can have the donut (or other item) you want, just not the dozen/box/etc.
