At what age did your child start going to the dentist? I had asked my dentist and she recommended not starting until 3. However, when I took DD to the pediatrician for her 3 year old checkup, they seemed surprised when I said she hadn't been to see one yet.
Eastside ladies~ Do you have a pediatric dentist you would recommend? I remember there being one (maybe in Milford?) that was discussed awhile back that a lot of you seemed to like.
TIA!
Re: pedi dentist
My dentist recommends Dr. Vieson and Dr. Creath. Both are independent of each other, but they recommend them equally. We also need to get him in to see one... we've been delaying the inevitable.
ETA: Both are in Milford on 28 (towards old Milford)
I just scheduled my son his first dental visit for the end of September with Elizabeth Mueller and Associates on Montgomery Rd. He will be close to 2 at the time of the appt, and when I contacted them to schedule it they recommend the first visit being at the time they start getting teeth...I think it's going to be different depending on who you talk to, and whether they are a pediatrician or a dentist. Here is the website for the office.

I started taking Maggie at age 2 to Dr. Elizabeth Mueller in Montgomery. The office is great. We're going for her third visit tomorrow actually!
I'm a dental hygiene fanatic and love going to the dentist so I figured the earlier we got her used to the visits the better.
