Re: Pregnancy Olympics
Walking up the stairs in our house. I can do it, but man, I sure have to catch my breath when I am up there. Oh, and I could totally win the gold medal in the eating competition
getting off the couch
going from laying down to sitting up
picking anything up off the floor that i can't use my toes to grab
getting up off the ground (i dropped something yesterday on the floor and it was something i didn't want the dog to find so i quickly got down to find it. i actually thought i was going to be stuck, it took me a full 2 mins to get up!)
Haha this post makes me laugh.
Getting up. Off anything. Couch, chair, floor, bed, it's all accompanied by a lot of sighing and huffing.
Getting my rings off. It usually involves water, soap, a panic attack and a lot of tugging. I can't bear to be ringless but my puffy fingers are making it difficult!
I use my toes to pick up anything and everything that I possibly can. I avoid bending over at all costs.
too funny!
For me its anything having to do with shoes (that don't slip on), putting on socks, tying or buckling them. I'm really trying to stick to flip flops and slip ons if I can.
I can't believe no one has mentioned this but going to the bathroom! Wiping has become a pain in the a$$!!!
and pretty much what cbubbles said, anything that involves bending over or having to get up (esp. from couch and bed).
If I drop something, I tend to get pretty pissed off now ha.
IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks
IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks
IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!
Anything shoe related unless it involves flip-flops. I needed to get a new pair of shoes for a wedding last week and came close to breaking down crying in the store b/c I needed DH's help to fasten them.
Sitting up on the couch (from laying down). I have to have DH give me his hand and practically pull me up. When I'm in bed, I have to practically roll off the bed feet first.
Taking a shower. I have already fallen twice entirely due to lack of balance/different center of gravity these days and have almost fallen about a dozen times. I feel like a grandmother but I actually broke down and got one of those stools you stick in your shower/tub.

Shaving!
Getting clothes out of the washer! I am only 5'2 so my belly won't let me grab the ones in the back very easily.
~It'sbabytime~ YES YES and YES....Going to the bathroom feels more like a chore than anything!
ok good. I knew I couldnt be the only one haha!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who has a hard time going to the bathroom. From sitting down, to readjusting my silly maternity pants, and the wiping... yeah no one ever talked about that part... and then trying to get in and out of the stalls.
Carrying the laundry basket is hard too. And so is cleaning the bathroom. My floors won't be scrubbed anymore, I guess swiffer wet mops will have to do.
