Just got told I'm starting to drop already...

Coworker just told me that I'm not going to make it to October and that the baby was coming in September.  She said I'm already starting to drop and other people have said/thought the same thing.  I told her that BETTER not be true since I'm due on October 31st and that would mean I'd be having a very premature baby:(  I told DH and he was so upset.  He's like, you can't tell pregnant women that! 

 I don't necessarily take what she said to mean anything since at my appt last week the DR said everything looked good. BUT, I'm still having lots of BH contractions and now I'm definitely going to ask my dr to check me this week at my 3hGTT or next Tuesday at my next appt. 

UGH:(  She has a long way to go before she's ready to join us.  I can't wait to meet her but at the same time, I absolutely want to wait!  Stay put little one!

    Stay put little one!  I'm glad you can get checked this week.  I'm sure that will help put your mind at ease.

    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN

    People say stupid stuff sometimes, it amazes me. I wold definitely check with your doc and listen to what he/she has to say and ignore the random inappropriate co-worker.

    If it helps at all, my belly looks different on a daily basis.

    ppl just need to shut their mouths sometimes! i try not to take most of the things ppl say too seriously, most of the time they are just trying to be nice.

    but when ppl make comments like, oh you look so small! or oh, you've dropped that baby is coming early! they don't know they are getting inside your head and making you over-analyze everything.

    BH are totally normal, and i'm sure your co-worker is just BSC yenta. if your doctor says everything is OK, i'm sure it is and your LO will stay cooking for much longer!

    People SWORE that I had "dropped" with DD for weeks. When I actually had my first internal at 36 weeks, the OB said, "well, the baby hasn't dropped yet...". People are idiots. You may be carrying lower, but that doesn't mean the baby has dropped in the technical "getting ready for labor" sense. Hang in there, hon!

    I would ignore anyone w/o a medical degree who doesn't do an internal, i.e. everyone but your OB.  Hope LO stays put!

    Your doctors have medical degrees.  Your co-workers don't know squat.  I'm sure your baby will come in October like she is supposed to.

    I can't stand people that make comments like that.  They have no clue what they're talking about.  They make it sound like being born 1-2 months early is no big deal.  Grrrr.  Hope your check-up this week will make you feel more sure that LO will hang in there for the long haul and your coworker is crazy!

    First of all, people should just keep their mouths shut.  Secondly, my sister dropped halfway through her pregnancy with all 3 of her kids - and her doctor was never worried (her kids just had some nice coneheads when they were born from sitting ready in that birth canal for so long - I still thought they were adorable!).  So no worries - sorry people have you nervous for nothing.

    Thanks everyone.  Just trying to ignore it for now.  I just don't like that I have something else to make me (irationally as it may be) paranoid that things aren't ok.  I honestly think if I wasn't having all these contractions I'd be fine but hopefully things will be cleared up at my next appt and and I can go back to my non-panicked state I had been enjoying:P

    I wouldn't worry too much. Even if you dropped, I'm sure she'll stay put for the next two months! I've carried my baby very low the whole pregnancy and he's doing just fine. I love your due date BTW!
