I was released from my RE last week and have my first OB appointment tomorrow. I just realized that throughout the last almost 10 weeks, my RE never told me my P4. I'm supposed to stop progesterone Thursday at 10 weeks, but I'm nervous. I also need my TSH checked. Does the OB normally check these things? Or do you think they will if I ask? I've already got my "I leak 6grams of protein on the regular" speech ready for my peeing in a cup, but I'd like to ease my mind with blood work too!

My OB always checks progesterone at the first blood draw, since he specializes in seeing women with recurrent losses, but I don't know if most OBs do. He does not check TSH regularly though, and I had asked for it since I have a family history.
I would just ask to make sure those two are included since they'll be drawing so much anyways! GL!
ETA: I was so freaked out to go off the Prometrium since my P4 was so ridiculously low (in the 7's at 4 weeks, and never above 19 in the first 12 weeks) but it all worked out just fine! The placenta definitely does the job, although it is so scary to stop the meds!
April 2011: Metformin 1500mg + Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel + Prometrium = BFP!
