At 6 weeks, I always use 1 hand to support my breast, and sometimes support LO's head with the other throughout each nursing session. Just wondering what others do and at what age they started it.
Do you help baby latch and then remove your hands? Do you hold your boob in position? If you nurse hands-free, was it hard to get to this stage?
Re: YOUR hands during nursing...
I love this question. I still use one hand to support my breast. 34Fs need some help, or at least mine do. LCs suggest rolling up a little towel for support but I just feel more comfortable holding it up
The other hand used to support baby, but now I mostly have the it free to do something like read or drink or use my iPhone.

At first I would have one hand support LO's head, the other guiding my breast/holding it up. As he got bigger, now I don't have to support his head (when we use the boppy). If I do I can now use the crook of my elbow, which I was never able to do when he was so small. Sometimes if they're especially full I'll use a hand to massage the breast to help get some of the lumps out.
Mostly though I use my hands to hold the book I'm reading or surf the web.
