Ha ha. freaked out DD's school this morning

I get a message at school to call my mom right away, something about DD's school calling her (I have her as the primary contact b/c I am impossible to get in touch with at school). I get all panicky and call my mom. The school called her freaked out b/c there was mac &cheese in DD"s lunch box. I had to laugh, explain to my mom that it is vegan mac &cheese and safe for DD to eat. It makes me feel good that they really are looking out for DD and know that she is not supposed to have dairy!

    Ha! That's great! I mean, it sucks that you had that moment of panic, but it is awesome they are looking out for her. Maybe label things in the future :)

    Its great that they are on top of it.  Asher gets cared for by my sister but because the food thing scares her I provide all his food and when I send him with Quinoa or Rice Bread, I send a little note that says "Allergy free no worries : )"

    LOL! that's awesome! at least you know they are watching!!!

    i made an awesome treat this weekend and it had chocolate topping and my friends were all questing it how is my son able to eat it.. and i had to show them the packaging of the (enjoy life) chocolate chips to proof to them that it's safe b/c the taste was sooo good.

    love it :)
