We are going to TTC again in December. Who else is thinking of trying again then (or in the months after)?
What are you doing to prep yourself? I'm trying to eat better & get in shape. It isn't going perfectly, but I think it's better than not doing anything.
Any other thoughts, anxieties, etc.?
Re: Who will be TTC again in Dec (or so)?
We'll be TTC in late November. We initially planned for this summer, but some fun trips have come up for this fall and so we're holding off till after those. So we'll try as many cycles as it takes between November and March. If we don't have any luck, we'll hold off until May or June, I think. I don't want our babies' birthday too close together.
To prep, I'm trying to get in better shape than the first time around. I'll be starting back up with my prenatal soon, too.
34 is staring me down so I feel you! We aren't thinking about anything until after her first birthday but in my head I am thinking next spring.
I would love to TTC come December but...
1. I need to loose the pregnancy weight at least, before having #2
2. DH needs to step up to the plate and get projects finished around the house
3. If I get a new job we will wait till I am there a year before we TTC.
this is pretty much us too. we are trying now. if not pregnant by December, we will see a specialist again. i never stopped taking prenatals. and im trying to get in shape because pregnancy kicks my a$$, so i need to get ahead of the game.
i would like to start TTC but we're not financially prepared yet. i think when we're thinking of TTC ill start my folic acid pills and also try to eat better and work out a bit.
my only fear is that my pelvic pain will come back and come back sooner (which is what i heard =S ).
we're not, but starting to talk about maayyyybe next summer/fall. if we can, we'd like to avoid #2 having an oct-dec bday, but i also realize we'll get what we get and don't have the luxury of being choosy since we tried for 2.5 years to get H. (and only succeded with 3 IUIs).
but we have to figure out our housing sitch before then. it is just not feasible to have 2 kids in this teeny house. we're trying to decide how to handle a refi that needs to happen and if moving to larger house is in the cards.
OMG, you too? I had symphysis pubis dysfunction. It started up around 16 weeks, so it really horrifies me that it could happen sooner with successive kids. After a while it would hurt my pelvis to pick anything up, so I'm really scared about getting pregnant with #2 (and see my post...I just had a BC fail...), esp close in age to #1. The smart thing would be to wait until #1 never needs to be picked up again.... If I do get pregnant he'd better learn to walk asap.
Yep, I'll be 37 by the end of the year so we'll be TTC earlier than I'd really like to.
I really need to work on getting back in shape. I've lost my pregnancy weight, but I'm just saggy and floppy (and I'm not even talking about my boobs). For about a week I was good about doing at least a set of crunches before bed but that was about it.
