If you LO is eatting baby food

How many types of fruits and veggies have they tried? The veggies Zoe has tried are sweet potatoes, squash, peas, green beans, carrots. And the fruit are applesauce, pears, bananas, peaches.

Which ones do they like? Zoe only likes applesauce, peas and sweet potatoes everything else on the second time we tried it she just looks at me like WTH and wont open her mouth.

Have you tried mixing them? A lot of the stage 2 jars are the fruits and veggies mixed together and we have tried one fruit combo and one veggie combo and she likes these a lot more then the solo stage 1 jars.

Oh and she still loves rice cereal and oatmeal so she gets that for breakfast mixed with formula.

  • DD just turned 5 months. She has had oatmeal, peas, squash, and apples. We'll do sweet potatoes or carrots next, then either banana or prunes. She doesn't really care for the oatmeal, and kept making icky faces with the apples, but she's loved the veggies so far.

  • Nate is a foodie! He loves his oatmeal along with fruits and veggies. We have given him apples, pears, bananas, mangos, and combos like banana/mango, plum/grape/banana and apples/cherries. He wasn't so fond of the apples and pears at first, but now will eat them. He loves bananas, mangos, and the plum/grape/banana combo. Some are stage 1 and some are stage 2. He seems to handle both just fine. As far as veggies go, he loves sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, and the corn/squash combo. He's not so crazy about green beans.
  • Lucy has tried rice cereal, oatmeal, carrots, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, pears and prunes.  The only two that she REALLY didn't like were rice cereal and peas.  We've been having constipation issues, so we aren't doing the rice cereal anymore anyway.  Her favorites seem to be bananas with carrots, squash, pears, and prunes close behind  The apples aren't a huge hit.  My guess is that they are a little too bitter for her.  We are going to start green beans on Tuesday and peaches next Saturday.  She'll be 6 months in a couple of weeks and I am hoping that we can start on some Stage 2 food at that time.  I feel crazy, but I look forward to our "new food days" all week.  =)

  • We have Tried Rice Cereal and Oatmeal

Veggies- Carrots, Sweet Patateos, Peas, Squash, and Beets

    Fruits- Peaches, Apples w/ Blueberries

He loves Sweet Patateos w/ Beets, and peas. Peaches hurt his tummy, so that is why we are slow on the fruits.
