Stereotypical pregnant lady here

I'm loving orange juice and pickles! Not necessarily together, but I must have them in the house at all times, it's a little ridiculous here. What are your must-haves?

  • I agree exactly.  Maybe bc of their strong taste, but they are the two of the only things that still taste "normal" to me.  Everything has seemed to lose flavor.  But my sense of smell is heightened to the point that things I used to like make me sick to just smell them.

  • Cheetos!! I've been craving them since some time last week. Then I got into work and the vending machine had no power. When I went by them today, I zoomed to them, and actually scared DH!

  • Orange juice is a big one for me too! 

    Also swiss cheese and beef (hamburgers, steak, fajita meat, etc)

    That's all I can think of right now.

  • I must have lemons 24/7. Lemons are the only way that I make it through a shift at work because I am sensitive to all of the smells (I work at a Med. restaurant and we sell a lot of calamari which I cannot stand the smell of!). The only thing that keeps me from puking my guts out all day at work is to eat lemons. The smell sticks with me and I am less likely to be bothered by food or customer smells.

  • This probably isn't stereotypical but I have to have skim milk in the house at all times! I go through a gallon (by myself) every three days! Once DH drank the rest and didn't tell me or replace it...let's just say it hasn't happened since!

  • Green olives and lemon juice, especially together! But I have always loved sour foods.

  • Orange juice and chocolate milk!  Not together...and I NEED the orange juice within minutes of waking up or I get scary.  I think it's low blood sugar in the morning maybe?  I go for the chocolate milk at night...my husband is really loving the chocolate milk right now too, which makes me....er, slightly psycho.

  • Root beer is one and I have never been a soda drinker. Also the other day, I asked DH to bring home KFC...which is also something I typically do not put in my body but it was GREAT! I really crave fresh fruit the most though and did even when having severe m/s.

  • Chocolate milk is my thing right now. And Cheese- pizza, string cheese, grilled cheese, cheese & wheat thins. Hopefully pickles aren't a thing for me down the road because I HATE pickles but who knows.

  • I have the same tastes! Since cucumbers have been in season here, my mom made a ton of pickles for me. And the other night I sent DH out to buy me OJ.

    I also need M&Ms. Never been much for sweets, but I love them. Oh, and Bagel Bites.

  • Pickles have been one of mine, too! But everyone automatically assumes "oh you're gonna have some ice cream & pickles when you get home?" um, no.. that sounds disgusting to me, actually.

    I've also been craving PBJ's, & waffles!

  • I'm the same way with orange juice! I also have to have granola bars because I need something quick when my blood sugar crashes out of no where.

    Certain things are really gross to me now that I used to love - burgers, steak, pickles.  Very weird.
