Monthly photo ideas for baby

Anyone planning to do something unique? The stuffed animal and the monthly onesie stickers seem so overdone right now.  Give me your awesome ideas!

    Some mamas buy a 12 mo sized onesie and put LO in it every month until 1 yr.

    I saw one where the parents used a big collector type wine bottle. Those were cute.

    Do you have any pets? We are doing the month stickers on a onesie with a stuffed animal, but I also thought it would be cute to take a monthly picture with Tucker too.

    I'm doing the stickers, but I saw a cute idea for a boy- let him wear dad's shirt & tie in all the pictures to see how much he "grows into it".

    I saw one where they bought the same onsie from newborn up to 12 month size and put LO in whichever one fit at the time.  The other onsies hung in the background in size order on a mini clothes line kind of thing.  It was kind of cute. 

     I think we are just going to take pictures based on the theme of that month.  So October would be a Halloween themed picture, November would be in a pile of leaves or something autumn like, December would be Christmas obviously, etc.  I am then making everyone a calendar for the following year's Christmas gifts since it was such a bit with our wedding pics and they are so easy to make on sites like Shutterfly.

    I was researching ideas for this a few days ago.

    My favorite so far was the parents used a huge desk calendar & circled the day each month that the baby was born & put "1 month!," "2 months!," etc on that day (say the 5th of every month). The way baby was positioned on the calendar so that you could see the name of the month.

    We are doing the monthly onesie and stuffed animal bug we are also putting dd in dh's police uniform every month.
