Re: XP: CCRM

  • while i'm not an ivf patient, i did go to ccrm (PCOS, luteal phase defect, and uterine septum). dr. minjarez is absolutely wonderful (rose office) as is the lab tech- ruby. i'm paranoid of needles and actually came to enoy my blood draws. at 6 weeks pg we started working with the nurse jessica, who is also very nice and knowledgable. i can't speak for the other locations or doctors, but overall our experience was rewarding and i'm now full term with a little bundle of joy who we're excited to meet soon. it took five miscarriages (2 chem. pgs and 3 confirmed) to get us here, as well as a month of bedrest for unexplained bleeding in the first trimester, but the staff at ccrm was there for us during the process, and we know that without their help we wouldn't be where we are today. they are eager to answer any questions you have, and usually take time to explain everything in detail as well as call you back immediately when you have a concern. also, the website might have alot of the answers you are looking for. good luck and lots of baby dust!

  • There is an awesome C.CR.M thread on Fertility Community.  PM me and I'll send it to you (assuming I receive your PM; I'm relatively new to TheBump).

  • I went to CCRM and we were successful on our first IVF try. They used two embroyos and one took. I saw Dr. Surrey and we had a good experience. Let me know if you want to chat more about it.
  • This is my first post, so I hope this works out! I too, have Dr. Minjarez and LOVE her! She did my laparoscopic ovarian tumor removal, my endoscopry and of course, we've had our consults and regoups with her. Very professional and also such a kind hearted person. I've heard she's the best out of all the CCRM docs, but that's just what I've heard. Also, we know someone who did not know who our Dr. was and she recommend that we go see her friend who is amazing and it turned out to be Dr. M!!! Once we decided to go the donor egg route, we mostly go to the Lone Tree CCRM and I LOVE my nurse, Christina and counselour, Judy! They are wonderful, wonderful women! I know it's their job, but they go above and beyond! Couldn't have been paired up any better!!  Dr.Gustufson did our IVF and he seemed pleasant for the whole of 10 minutes I saw him! I hope this helps anyone who reads this! I will be checking out the other community forum on the OB's in the Denver area. Dr. M gave me two, but I cannot find any info on either of them- good/bad...hmmm.

P.S. How do I make my comments all fancy and cute?
