Trouble TTC

Does anyone else have this issue?

It seems like from day 12 to day 20 I have "fertile" seeming cm. I had ovulation pain cd 14. Does this happen to anyone else?

(ps charting makes me obsess and opks drive me up the wall and make me jump the gun- so Im not using either of them til Im desperate... only cycle 6) Thanks ladies!

Re: Does anyone else have this issue?

  • THis board is for women who have been trying for over a year and/or have a DX fertility/health issue.  The TTGP board sounds like a better fit for you

Having said that, it is normal and OK to have fertile CM at various points in your cycle (before, during and after O).  Yes, I've had O pain before

Are you f-ing kidding me?  Are you trying to be insulting or does it just come naturally?

    IT'S A GIRL

  • I think your post above hit a nerve with some people (me included), because of the suggestion that using opks and charting is a result of "desperation" and mentioning that you have only been trying for a few months.

Most of the women on this board have diagnosed medical issues interfering with their fertility and/or have been ttc for years, so it is somewhat hurtful when a newbie shows up who hasn't been trying for very long (believe me, six months is not a long time for ttc) and starts talking about how desperate someone has to be to resort to charting or opks.  Most of us are WAY past the point where charting and opks will even help us.

I know you posted once before that you thought you might have pcos but had not gone to the doctor yet.  If you think this is an issue for you, please go see your doctor to get evaluated.  Until then, I would recommend that you stick with the Trying to Get Pregnant Board for posts like this.  Good luck!
