If you had more than one frostie, how many did you transfer? More, same or less than successful IVF?
We transferred 2 embies for successful IVF and one stuck resulting in DS. We have 6 frosties, but not sure whether to transfer 2 frosties and hope that one stick or transfer 3 frosties in case success rates/odds are lower for FET?
Re: For those who did FET after successful IVF...
For our fresh IVF cycle we transfered 2 and one stuck resulting in our dd. FOr our FET we had 4 frozen and 2 survived the thaw so we transfered both and one stuck resulting in ds.
Clomid M/C 8 weeks 2/08 *IVF #1-DD born 3/09
*Surprise BFP-T18 baby lost at 13w 1/10 *FET #1-DS born 2/11
we transferred 2 for IVF#4- we got alex
when we do an FET for #3 we'll transfer 2.

Bummer, forgot that they might not all survive the thawing process
IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...
We transferred one for our fresh IVF and got DS.
We transferred one for our FET and got a BFP but had a m/c.
We transferred two for our second FET and got a BFN.
We transferred one again for another fresh IVF and I am now pregnant with DD.
Good luck!

Our fresh cycle was a BFN (2 transferred, 14 frozen)
FET#1 we got DD (2 transferred)
FET#2 was a c/p (2 transferred)
FET#3 we will transfer 2 on Monday
Short answer: only as many as I(we) wanted to carry
Long answer: too many variables to compare apples to oranges. Embryo quality, your age, day embryos were frozen, their grade, clinic stats on thawing, your IF history and diagnosis, if you are open to twins and/or SR... etc.
Some say that fresh cycles work better, but I personally seem to do better with FET's.
But bottom line, if you put three back, you best be ready for 3 to come out.
5 REs + 3 surgical hysteroscopies for septum/lap + 3 failed IUIs
IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest
Our twins born @36w4d via CS when A came foot first
Thankful for every day
