Does your morning sickness come and go?

Just trying to ease some of my worries.  I have had nausea from very early on and it's been pretty nasty.  Today has been a very good day though!  I even went grocery shopping without gagging and ate a ton of vegetables.  But of course it makes me worry.  Does anyone else symptoms come and go or do you feel like you have them every single day?

Re: Does your morning sickness come and go?

  • My nausea comes and goes, your not the only one. It comes in waves. Not fun

  • Yes, definitely. I had some minor waves of nausea here and there early on and then I felt great for a week or so. Today it hit me again and the food aversions have started. I know how it can make you worry!

    P.S. I am pregnant with #3 too! :)

  • I haven't had any sickness so far except one day this week when I felt like I had to puke. Just once.  My mother and sister both said they never felt sick, so maybe it's genetic.

I have heard that m/s can come and go.  I guess just take it as a welcomed break! :)

    Good luck!

  • Yes. Today is the first day that I've actually felt pretty decent. What a relief!

  • Thank you girls!  I knew this was the case but it sure does make me feel better to hear y'all say it too!

jilybean17- do you have anxiety about having 3 kiddos?  I am nervous about hubby and I being outnumbered!!  And this is it for us, so trying very hard to enjoy every last moment.  <3

I do! Mostly about being outnumbered as well. I could leave DS in a safe place with some sort of activity while I put DD down for naps, etc. Now, I have to worry about them DS and DD fighting while I do things for #3!  I'm not sure if this will be it for us or not...we'll see how this baby is! DS and DD were both very fussy/high needs babies.

  • I've been feeling a lot better today still slightly sick but the past 2 days before were so awful. So I'd definitely say it comes in waves.

  • I haven't had any morning sickness until today, (the reason I took a test) and it's lasted ALL day. Hoping the m/s isn't as bad as last time, I was really sick everyday until 16-17 weeks.

    That is brutal!

Jill- My DS1 was a colicky/high needs baby too.  Thankfully DS2 wasn't.  I plan to request Prevacid at the first sign of crankiness this time around!
