Re: Thank GOD he will be home today
ugh, I feel for you. I have had times where he was gone for 3 wks and then left a week later for a 1 wk class and its rough. hang in there!
You guys are both my heros! I'd go crazy (or crazier) if my DH was on the road.
Caitlin - enjoy your time with him and join us crazies who are on #3!
hahaha, I think we may have a small window right before he leaves, but who knows. Of course I think I O'd like 4 days ago....no rush though...it'll just happen. Im just happy to have him come home. Thats the fun part
I'm very lucky that during the summer my Mom is home (she's a teacher), so if I need a break I take the kids to see her. As much as DH traveling sucks, it allows for me to stay home. For now it works. We're hoping that when all of the kids are in school he'll have a different job that has less or no travel.
same here. It allows me to stay home, he has a great job that he can grow in and when he's home we can travel and spend time alone for 3 weeks. Its great. We joke that when they are all in school, if he still is on the rig, we'll have a large portion of the day to be alone together...what will we do with ourselves??
I tip my hat off to you ladies.
I did my first solo evening yesterday and was completely exhausted by the time I had both girls in bed. And taking them both to the playground today really wore me out - I can only imagine what that'll be like when DD2 is running around as well!

You're just giving birth now, you're not mother Earth now
You deserve an award...or a nice long vacation (alone or with just your DH). I can't imagine having my DH gone so long and the obvious danger that comes along with him being military. I couldn't do it. You are my hero!
