Baby clothes (sizes & where do you shop?)

Just curious what size clothes our babies are wearing right now. Also, where you like to shop for them?

Grace is starting to grow out of some of her 12 mo. clothes (baby clothes sizing makes about as much sense as the sizing for women's clothes, pffffsht). I need to hit a mom to mom sale, and soon, for some 18 month things. Those are my fav place to shop right now.

Olivia is wearing mostly 9 month stuff right now. Some are a little loose, but they aren't falling off of her and she seems comfortable. I almost always shop mom to mom and yard sales. Sometimes I will shop the Target clearance racks and very occasionally the Carter's store clearance racks. I just can't justify spending a bunch of money on clothing she is growing out of so quickly.

Ava is on the smaller size so she is in 6-9 and still wears some of her 3-6 outfits. We get most of her clothes at Walmart and Target.

DD is in 18 and 24 months. She has grown out of some 18. She grows out of the neck first. At 6 month appt she was only 17lbs 7 oz (50-75%) her head though was 75-90%. we also cd so that does take us up one pants size. I like shopping kohls, target, and Gymboree (clearance rack). She grew out of her 12 month clothes so fast, I have bought her nothing for fall because I just do not know what size to get. I had bought a summer wardrobe of 12 month clothes which she was in for less than three weeks. Ahhhh

DS is just starting to grow out of 6-9 month stuff. I mostly shop for him at Kohl's, Target, Walmart (bought a bunch of pants for $1 each at Target and Walmart), and consignment shops/hand-me-downs.

My DD is wearing all different sizes depends on the brand. Mostly 6-9 months. She wears a ton on Gymboree and she is in 3-6 sometimes and some 6-12 from there. Carters she wears 6 months and is still in 3-6 months jammies.

I shop at Gymboree, Carters, Childrens Place, Baby GAP, Kohls and Target.

Nate is in 9-12 now, and 6-12 in the "fancy" brands. I shop at consignment shops and the JBF sale that is coming up in our town next week. My mother brings over Gymboree and Janie and Jack clothing! I look forward to her visits.

Bryson is in 6-9 mon. clothes. Their still fitting him pretty good. I mainly get his stuff from Kohls, Old Navy, Childrens Place, Target. However I only buy when there's a good crazy sale & I have a coupon. I've also been stocking up clothes for awhile when that season goes on sale I'll buy ahead.

We're in 6-12 (or 6-9) month stuff right now. I mostly shop at Baby Gap (can't help it, I'm addicted), but we do have some Carter's stuff and some other hand-me-downs.

hazel wears alot of 6-9 because that's what i had bought for summer, but she still fits very comfortably in 3-6. i shop mostly at carters, target, old navy and gymboree.

DS is all over. He's tall & skinny (big belly but small waist/hips).
Shorts: 0-3, 3-6
Onesies: 9months are starting to be snug; 12 mo
Shirts: 6mo, 9mo

We buy almost all his clothes from our local resale shop for $1.50/item. It's affordable, great stuff (Baby Gap, ON, Carters), doesn't bug me if it gets stained and benefits our local Family Services non-profit. Some of the clothes still have tags on them. I've slowly been buying 12mo, 18mo & 24mo each trip.

Isaac is in 9-12 months. A couple things he wears are 18 months! Most of his clothes are hand me downs. But the few things I've bought are from WalMart or Target. I like to shop clearance racks when I got into stores as well. I've gotten some good deals at ToysRUs, Kohls, Old Navy, etc. that way. DHs grandparents shop garage sales A TON. They find a lot of cute clothes for the kids which saves us a lot of $ and time.

Same here! I do have a lot of carters onesies cause they're my fave. Almost everything is hand me down from DS1- their bdays are 3 wks apart, so same season! DS1 was bigger though... I may need smaller stuff for fall.

Charlie is wearing about 70% nine months clothes and 30% six months clothes. Just depends on the outfit and brand. He's in 9 months onesies and footed pajamas for the most part though.

Most of his clothes are from the local consignment shop (Once Upon a Child). The prices are fabulous and I've never found something stained or ripped. Most things still have tags on them! Otherwise, I hit up Target every once in a while or the Carter's outlet for basics.

Yep, this is exactly us too for DS. I love the clearance and sale stuff at Baby Gap and we get awesome deals on Carter's at Costco.

LO is anything from 6-9 months up to 18 months. When fall arrives she will most likely be in 12-18 months due to the need for the length.

She is long and has very chubby thighs.

O is in 6-9 stuff now. it fits well length-wise, but is baggy everywhere else. we get most of our stuff hand-me-down from O's cousin (his mom is a SHOPPER), occasionally we go consignment, for plain white onesies we do carters...and usually buy them at tjmax or something-because they are way cheaper.

DS is mostly in 12 months now, though we're trying to hold onto some 9 month outfits for a little longer. I like Target, Carter's and the sale rack at Baby Gap and Gymboree.

E is in 6-9 month onesies and both 3-6 and 6-9 month pants. Oh and 6-9 month sleepers. I get almost all his clothes at Once Upon A Child, and have never found anything in poor condition. I have gotten a lot of things with tags too!

DD is mostly in 6-9 months: Carters, Target, and British brands. She has some 3-6 that she still fits, and a few 9-12 that I've put her in (mostly bottoms for space for her CDs). She's 75% in weight now, and has gained rapidly in the past few months since weaning, so it wasn't that long ago that she was mostly in 0-3!

Landon is in 6-9 month stuff and we shop mostly at Children's Place and Carters, or Target and Walmart but we buy the Carter's brands. I have noticed that Carter's fits perfectly, regardless of what the item is.

We just bought pajamas at CP and they are really really narrow. L is measuring smaller, so they still fit, but I can't imagine people who have 7 month olds who weigh 25 pounds trying to squeeze their LO into these 6-9 month clothes. We also have a pair of 6-9 mo shorts from CP and they are HUGE. Way too big for him to wear. So I think their sizing system is odd there.

We also have a lot of Colts onesies and other "off-brand" clothes, and they all seem to be really short and really narrow, which doesn't help when you have a long, skinny kid. So all the 6-9 month stuff he has in the off-brands really would have fit him better length-wise in 3-6 months.

I like Kohl's because everything is almost always on sale, and if you catch the season just right most things are on clearance for 80% off plus you can use the pick-a-day 15% off on top of that! I just picked up some t-shirts and shorts for M that were $2 each!

Jake's in 9 month stuff, but can fit into some of carters 6 month onsies. He is almost ready 12 month sleepers. We shop at Target, Kohls, Old Navy and The childrens place.

DD is still in 6-9 month stuff, although she still fits into one 0-3 size top that I keep because its so cute. Embarrassed

90% of our stuff has been hand-me-downs or gifts, although once she gets into the 9 month stuff we're going to have to hit the stores. I usually look at Target and Kohls, although we just got a Children's Place at our mall, so I'll probably hit there too soon.

Brooklyn wears 3-6 6-9 and I show Carters a lot too but I also go to consignment sales. I go to a lot of "just between sales" You should check out there website jbfsale.com there nation wide. See if they have one in your neighborhood.
